RedWeb Security offers a range of personal and business security products to deter crime.
The unique DNA code in each RedWeb alarm offers secure, registered, evidence to the authorities in the event of a crime being committed. The product range includes protection of individuals, the home, family, business and employees.
The forensic deterrent
RedWeb Security's products are designed to spray intruders with a highly visible forensic dye, which contains a unique 'Biosynthetic DNA fingerprint'.
The perpetrator is instantly recognisable from the vivid, red indelible dye. The dye attaches itself primarily to the skin and hair (organic materials). This can remain visible for several days around sensitive areas such as the eyes, nose, mouth and ears. There is an ultra-violet marker in the stain that becomes more obvious under U.V. light as the stain diminishes.
Evidential chain
In order to achieve irrefutable proof of a perpetrators presence RedWeb has devised and consistently tests its manufacturing, storage, distribution and installation processes to ensure integrity in the evidential chain. Working with the CPS (Crown Prosecution Service), police and forensic specialists, RedWeb is able to assist in providing cast iron evidence to its clients and the authorities to use against criminals who are caught with a RedWeb forensic trace alarm.
Robust science
RedWeb incorporates bio-synthetic DNA. The number of permutations is currently 4 x 1059. Each unique DNA code is assigned to an individual aerosol, so if a person was arrested on suspicion of a crime, a sample would be taken and analysed at our laboratories. An irrefutable link would be forensically proven between the individual, the crime scene and a specific RedWeb forensic trace alarm, anywhere in the world.
Safety and compliance
RedWeb products have been fully tested for compliance and safety, and have been given a clear bill of health. RedWeb Sentry has full EMC Compliance and is CE approved, whilst the RedWeb Guarda Personal Safety Alarm has been designed to BS EN6800 1986.
Secure database
Once each aerosol is registered, the code number and customer details are held on a secure database to LPS1224 standards. This complies with the required standards for the retention of confidential information.
