RedWeb Security has worked extensively with the National Federation of Retail Newsagents (NFRN) to develop an affordable, effective security scheme for newsagents nationwide, which will deter crime and secure convictions using RedWeb's groundbreaking forensic trace alarms.
A retail premises in Manchester was attacked seven times in just five months. In each attack, youths were armed with baseball bats, knives and even firearms. The inevitable result was criminal damage, psychological damage to staff and customers, insurance claims, and - of course - a slide in bottom line profitability.
RedWeb Store Secure was the solution chosen to tackle the problem, using a covert RedWeb Sentry device integrated with a CCTV system. The Redweb Sentry is activated through a panic button (or RFID Option), and obvious signage was used to warn potential robbers that the premises was protected.
