Every year, vandalised trains have to be withdrawn from the UK's railway network, causing massive disruption to passengers and costing the train companies millions of pounds in penalties and lost revenue.
RedWeb has worked with British Transport Police and the UK's railway networks to implement RedWeb Site Secure, to help tackle the problem head on.
The deployment combines telemetry technology - to alert security guards and police when and where railway sidings are breached - with RedWeb's groundbreaking DNA spray systems, which forensically and irrefutably links the intruder to the crime scene.
RedWeb Site Secure has been successfully deployed on the railways, and attempts by vandals to trespass onto sidings have been thwarted.
