Car crime is a huge problem for police forces across the UK. The theft of valuables from cars (particularly with the recent popularity of satellite navigation systems) causes personal loss, possible psychological damage to the victims, increased insurance premiums all round, and a massive workload for police forces.
In discussion with various national police forces, RedWeb has developed the RedWeb Auto Secure system. The security system comprises covert (i.e. hidden) motion-sensing bullet camera, recording hardware, and the groundbreaking RedWeb DNA spray. Tracking technology and operational support can also be included when required.
When a car protected by RedWeb Auto Secure is approached, the system captures video images while simultaneously triggering the DNA spray to mark the would-be criminal, irrefutably linking them to the crime scene.
The inevitable result has been a sharp reduction in the volume of car crime in areas where RedWeb Auto Secure has been rolled out.
